4 Tools You Can Use to Supercharge Your Content Marketing

Content marketing can be overwhelming.

Writing long form articles, self-editing your posts, promoting your content, networking with influencers — the entire process is almost too much for any business owner to stand. But I have good news:  Content Marketing | Link360

It doesn’t have to stay that way.

Lucky for us, thousands of content marketing tools are available at our fingertips to help us save time and work more efficiently. But, since I can’t fit them all into this post (bummer, I know), I’ll just give you my top five. Sound good?

Good. Let’s start with my favorite:

Hemingway App

If you’re like me, you despise self-editing.

The whole thing feels impossible. How the heck are you supposed to view your work objectively, if all you do is spend hours and hours every day viewing it subjectively? I still haven’t figured it out.

But with Hemingway App, you don’t have to worry about any of that.

Hemingway App is an online editing program that scans your articles for errors in grammar, adverb usage, passive voice, hard to read sentences, and much more. It also allows you to correct those mistakes, and it provides suggestions for how you can do so. Powerful stuff, huh?

It takes the pain of not having a professional editor completely away. And that’s a lot of saved money.

Buzzsumo

Influencer marketing is one of the most powerful tools in a content marketer’s tool belt.

With a sturdy network of influencers, promoting your content across many different audiences is a cinch. Plus, it allows you to build trust in your industry faster than any other method available.

I’m sure you’ve heard this pitch plenty of times. Yet, one question still remains in your head:

“How do I find the right influencers to work with?”

With Buzzsumo, you can do exactly that.

Simply search a keyword from your industry, and Buzzsumo will pull up hundreds of influencers who fit the description. And on top of relevant influencers, Buzzsumo will also display a ton of helpful metrics to help you decide who to reach out to. Things like…

  • Page Authority
  • Twitter Followers
  • Reply Ratios
  • Authority scores

And more. It’ll completely revolutionize your influencer marketing strategy.

Google Alerts

When we create content, we strive to be the best informational source in our industry. It’s a prerequisite for content success.

But to maintain your position at the top, you have to stay updated with industry advancements.

Hackable industry news can appear at any time. New developments in research are being published constantly. And if your competitors take advantage of these content opportunities first, you’re going to lose out on the audience.

That’s where Google Alerts comes in.

Google Alerts allows you to receive updates through email or text on new and popular content to your industry. With Alerts, you can stay up to date on your industry’s developments wherever you are.

And on top of that, Alerts allows you to track:

  • When someone mentions your brand
  • The use of your different products
  • When specific blogs post updates

I highly recommend opening this HubSpot article in a new tab and saving it for later. It’ll tell you everything you need to know about setting up Alerts for your business.

Canva

I consider myself a content creator.

I’m comfortable writing blog articles and sharing them with the world. I’m good at editing videos to use in my own content marketing strategies. I love to interview guests for my podcast. But you know what I’m not?

A graphic designer.

And without professional graphics to use in my content, it’s hard for my readers to take me seriously (Microsoft Paint has failed me one too many times). But that’s where Canva saves the day.

Canva is an online graphic design tool that allows you to create amazing graphics without any work at all. They have thousands of pre-made templates that you can drag and drop onto their editor, choose a couple free images to slap on it, and download it for immediate use on your blog or website. Simple as that.

If you’re struggling to keep up with your content, tools like these can be a great help to keep you on pace. But here’s the thing:

Simple tools can’t save your entire content strategy.

Content marketing is a constant battle. And when most businesses attempt to succeed, they find that they don’t have the time or willpower to see powerful results. That’s where we can come in.

At Link360, we take the weight of content marketing off your shoulders. No longer will you have to worry about creating great content, developing relationships, researching keywords, or laboring over analytics -we take care of everything.
